The Detailing Process
The Checklist and What You Need to Know
Let me begin by telling you that I operate differently from most other Professional Auto Detailers. I operate on a Win / Win philosophy. I have designed my detail service with my customer's needs in mind. The more quality I provide for you, the more I benefit as a business owner.
One way to maximize your spending
dollar with DH Mobile is to have your
car washed a day or two prior to our
appointment. Yes, you read that right...
This way, I can cut to the chase and
do what you are really paying me for
- detailing, not washing. This car wash
does not need to be fancy - just a quick
run through any carwash will do!
This is not a requirement, only a suggestion. However, we have found that most customers appreciate the opportunity to maximize their dollar with us. But if you want us to perform this pre wash, we can certainly accommodate.
Payment
For first time customers, we only accept cash. I know this might be an inconvenience for some, but negative experiences have occurred and we must respond appropriately. Unfortunately, the few have ruined it for the many. But rest assured that you are entitled to scrutinize our work before you pay us. After your first detail, we will gladly accept personal checks.
What We Need to Perform Our Services
There are a few things we will need. First and foremost, we will need a clean, safe space to work. Your driveway, or wherever we perform our magic, should be relatively flat and free from clutter and debris. We will also need enough room to fully open all doors to your car.
In addition, we require access to a water faucet and an electrical outlet. We do not carry our own water or electricity. This is one way in which we are different from most detailers. Mobile electricity and water will require a loud, gasoline - powered generator, which also creates smoky exhaust. This would be the equivalent of a loud sports car in your driveway that is idling for six hours while we work... Yeah, we don't think you or your neighbors will appreciate that... You and your neighbors will thank us for making very little noise so you can enjoy some peace and quiet. Like I have mentioned before - we want to interrupt your life as little as possible.
The Detailing Process - Interior
We will start by detailing your car's interior. This will include removing floor mats. Then, we will meticulously clean and shampoo everything inside your car. We will use the appropriate chemicals for every material within your car's interior.
All seats will be moved backward and forward
so we can access the materials underneath.
Especially with SUV's and Trucks, we lift back all
seating and we open cubby holes and consoles
so we can detail these spaces. As a rule -
if you have not removed personal items from
these spaces, we will consider this personal
space and we will leave it alone.
If you have any special concerns, we will discuss
them beforehand as not to "disturb" anything
that you would like us to leave alone.
The Detailing Process - Exterior
Having your car "cleaned" is one thing, but having it detailed to a high shine is another! The kind of gloss that feels silky smooth to the touch and that really turns heads! I'm talking abut the kind of high gloss that is so deep, people can't keep their eyes off of it!
With DH Mobile, your car can have a deep mirror-gloss that you do not see too often! These professional results will be paint that is so shiny, you won't want to look away and a finish that is so clean and silky smooth, you will have a hard time keeping your hands off of it!
The DH Mobile Difference
If you are the type of person who places a high value on your time and money, look no further. We will always deliver a service that meets or exceeds your expectations. Give me a call to discuss your detailing needs for your car, boat or RV.

My goal is to be a voice of reason in an industry that is saturated with hype and false advertising. I will cut to the chase and transform you into an informed consumer by explaining what auto
detailing is really all about.
Sincerely,
David M. Helmer
