Q. Does DH Mobile Auto Detail do weekly washes? 

​

A. No, not in the sense you mean.  We have to decontaminate your car's paint before we can begin the detail process.  But if you are looking for a mobile wash service - we are not the service for you.

Q. How do we detail cars if we don't do mobile washing?

​

A. This is one way we are different from most mobile auto detailing businesses.  We value your time and money.  This is why we suggest you have your car washed a day or two prior to our detailing appointment (not a requirement - only a suggestion).  This way, you are paying us for what we do best - detailing.  This might seem odd at first, but after some thought, it makes sense to most people.  However, if you prefer the ultimate convenience of having us do everything, we will accommodate.

Q. What is the difference between a Mobile Detail business and a Mobile Wash business?

A. We are a professional detail company and we specialize in customized, high end detailing.  Many mobile wash businesses simply start out as that and then add detailing to their list of services.  This means they perform washing more than detailing and therefore, their detail skills are often underdeveloped.  While these Mobile Wash businesses may perform basic detail services, they often lack the skill and experience to perform truly customized, professional detailing that will meet your needs.

In fact, most of our detailing accounts use a separate wash service for their weekly car wash and they call us when they are ready for professional detailing.

We actually value your time and money the same way we value ours.  This means we will recommend detailing services with your needs and expectations in mind.  I, too, have had the misfortune of spending money on goods and services only to be disappointed.  Unfortunately, over-promising and over-delivering are all to common in today's business world.

Since you are paying us for detailing services, it makes for us to do what we do best - which is to deliver an awesome detail job!  Most people view washing and detailing as one process and believe they should both happen at the same time.  We believe this is a bad use of your money.  It does not make sense to pay auto detailing rates to have your car washed.  Before your car can even be detailed, a wash will be necessary in order to remove superficial dirt.  This can be accomplished by a simple $5.00 car wash.  This way, you are paying us to do what we ultimately set out to do - to detail!

But if you prefer the ultimate convenience of having everything done in one shot - we are happy to accommodate.
